require to add in your letter.
KEY POINTERS TO NOTE WHILES WRITING YOUR RESIGNATION
Your letter should be short and to the point. Indicate the date you will be quitting the job. Specifically mention that you are resigning and provide the date your resignation will take effect.
If you choose, you can offer thanks to your employer for the opportunities you had while being with the organisation.
This letter will form part of your long-term employment record, thus do not state anything undesirable. Your letter should be targeted at improving your odds of getting an endorsement from your employer in the possible future.
In writing your letter and depending on your contract, do not forget to give your employer a week or a month prior notice. Usually for those on probation, they are required to give a week or two weeks’ notice. Permanent staff are mostly required to give a months’ notice.
